Heidrun Tempel
Heidrun Tempel became the commissioner for Dialogue between Cultures at the German foreign office. Her degree in law was followed by the second state exam in law and work in development projects such as in a law firm in Bamako/Mali. She became European commissioner for the protestant church union in Nordrhein Westfalen in 1994 and became director of the protestant church offices in Germany for the EU-Institution in Brussels. Between 2000 and 2007 she was responsible for the connection to churches, religious communities and Islam in the Bundeskanzleramt.
