The International Symposia on Cultural Diplomacy 2015 »
"The 70th Anniversary of the End of WW2 and the Establishment of the UN: Developing Initiatives to Promote Cultural Understanding, Global Human Rights & World Peace"

(Berlin, London, New York, Thessaloniki; May - October, 2015)

The International Symposia on Cultural Diplomacy is a 10-year project taking place from 2008-2017 focusing on the development and promotion of the field of cultural diplomacy and conducted by the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy in cooperation with global governance organizations, national governments, international corporations and leading academic institutions. The 8th Symposia will take place in 2015 and will include large scale events that will take place in different major capital cities around the world throughout the months of May-October, 2015. "The 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of the UN: Developing Initiatives to Promote Cultural Understanding, Global Human Rights & World Peace within the Commonwealth"

(London; July 22nd - 24th, 2015)

The International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in the Commonwealth 2015 will analyze the relations between the UN and the Commonwealth and how the UN has historically supported positive developments in the Commonwealth over the past decades as well as how the UN can further support the development of the Commonwealth In addition, best practices and successful of cultural diplomacy experiences from the Commonwealth will be analyzed in order to implement them globally. The "International Symposium on Creative Industries, Culinary Innovation and Performing Arts" will be a 5-day symposium, which will take place in Berlin and will hosted in the new ICD House of Arts & Culture. The Symposium will bring together experts and professionals from the fields of creative industries, culinary and performing arts in order to discuss, perform and present the many benefits, uses and contributions of creative industries, culinary innovation and performing arts through a mixture of dynamic presentations, performances, demonstrations, workshops and interactive discussions. Iceland Summit on International Law & Human Rights 2015 »
"Developing Initiatives to Implement Human Rights Legislation"

(Parliament of Iceland, Reykjavik, Iceland; October 8th - 10th, 2015)

The Iceland Summit on International Law & Human Rights 2015 will review the current situation with regards to human right laws and their implementations in order developing initiatives to implement human rights legislation after the conclusion of the conference. The Summit will include keynote addresses, panel discussions, plenary sessions and social activities. Speakers and delegates of the Summit will also prepare recommendations and a list of concrete activities for the future development of the international law system to support human rights globally, which can be implemented by the participants of the conference and the global community. The Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy & Religion will aim to foster mutual understanding through interfaith dialogue in the spirit of securing a more peaceful and stable world. This momentous occasion will spotlight the significance of religious exchange through open dialogue and peaceful accord in the hopes of finding a common ground that unites rather than unbinds the world religions. In reimagining the role of religion as a tool for global peace and stability, the Symposium will see delegates from various disciplines, which will engage in discussions where the opportunity to hear their various impressions and thoughts on the issues and the strategies they think are viable to resolve systemic problems in order to achieve lasting peace will be presented.
