Biography

Judge Xhezair Zaganjori was born on March 9th 1957 in Shkodër, Albania. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tirana in 1981. He has worked as a lecturer of International Law, European Law and Human Rights at the University of Tirana and the School of Magistrates in Tirana. From 1992 to 1997 he worked as Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Germany. During this time he became a Doctor of Law and he was involved in research at the Max-Planck Institute.

In 1991 he was elected as a member of the Court of Conciliation and Arbitration of the OSCE in Vienna. From 2003 he worked as a member of the Constitutional Court and he was appointed as member of the Supreme Court of Albania in 2013.

Judge Xhezair Zaganjori has written several academic papers in Albania and abroad. He also participated in many national and international conferences.
