Biography
Jeremias Kettner is a leading German foreign policy expert with a focus on Europe's relations toward the Arabian Gulf. For over ten years, the political scientist has been dealing with the Gulf region and Iran, both professionally and privately. He is a consultant, regular speaker, guest lecturer and commentator in international media. As co-founder of BigSmallWorld, he interviews global leaders from politics and businesses. From 2011-2013 he co-chaired the Young German Council on Foreign Affairs, is an Alumni Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum and a member of the Aspen Institute.
Jeremias holds a PhD in political sciences from the Free University of Berlin and is the founder of the consulting firm Kettner Advisory. Kettner brought his expertise to organizations like ‘The Owners Forum”(International Institute for Family Enterprises), the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ghorfa), the British relief organization Peace Direct and many other clients from the private sector as well as governmental institutions. He sits on various advisory boards.
