"Levant, Cradle of Cultural Diplomacy: Rediscovering the Mediterranean"

(Bucharest; May 23rd - 25th, 2013)

Gala Event at Elisabeta Palace with HRH Crown Princess Margareta of Romania

On the last day of the "Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in the Levant," participants will be able to attend a special Gala Event at Elisabeta Palace, hosted by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Margareta of Romania. The event will feature a welcome address by the Princess herself, to be followed by a fantastic three-course dinner and live entertainment. Participants will also have a chance to engage in invaluable networking throughout the evening.

The Elisabeta Palace in Bucharest, also known as the official residence of King Michael of Romania, was built in 1936 for Princess Elisabeta, the former queen of Greece and sister of King Carol II. It remains one of the city's most beautiful sites, combining Moorish and Romanian Brâncovenesc styles of architecture. The Palace hosts numerous events, meetings, and dinners year-round, gathering notable personalities from the political, cultural, and business domains. Those who are invited usually have the unique opportunity to view masterpieces of contemporary Romanian artists, displayed in the exquisite art galleries and lounges of the Palace.
