Biography
Áine Collins is an Irish Fine Gael politician, who was elected as a Teachta Dála (TD) in February 2011 to represent the Cork North-West constituency.Prior to her involvement in politics, Ms. Collins worked as an accountant and business consultant to small and medium enterprises. Ms. Collins has over 20 years’ experience in business and finance. Coming from an agricultural background, Ms. Collins began her professional life as an accountant. She is a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Accounting Technician (IATI), with particular expertise in company regulation and compliance, auditing, financial reporting, and taxation. She is the co-founder and director of CUBE Business Consulting, and one of the founding members of Millstreet Development Association, as well as a member of Millstreet’s Community Council.
