"Higher Education in the Field of Cultural Diplomacy"

(Bucharest, May 6th - 7th, 2016)

Romania is an important country in Europe also due to its location at the cultural intersection between the East and West. Romania’s history has been defined in a sense by cultural diplomacy which has enabled the country to achieve the diverse ethnic identity it has today, through the integration of traditions of different ethnicities together with the impacts left by its various controlling powers, to generate the Romanian identity we know today.

The International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in Romania will address important issues related to cultural diplomacy in the region, with a specific focus on higher education in the field of cultural diplomacy.
