"International Alliance for a Diplomatic Solution to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict"
Overview
The International Alliance for a Diplomatic Solution to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict brings together international actors in a coordinated effort to advance a diplomatic resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Founded on interparliamentary alliances, the Alliance provides structured solutions to help bring the conflict to an end. It ensures that both the parties to the conflict and the international community have consistent access to diplomatic avenues, in contrast to the current situation, with all efforts grounded in the framework of a two-state solution.
At the heart of the Alliance’s work is the development of a practical roadmap for peace, outlining steps, timelines, and mechanisms to address the core challenges of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Alliance currently draws on the HLC – the Holy Land Confederation – an unofficial draft proposal for a permanent status agreement developed between 2020 and 2022 by a joint Israeli-Palestinian team led by Palestinian attorney and veteran negotiator Hiba Husseini and former Israeli Justice Minister Yossi Beilin.
Through sustained and principled diplomatic efforts, the Alliance seeks to bridge divides, reduce tensions, and support a negotiated settlement grounded in international norms. By combining expertise, structured dialogue, and the strength of interparliamentary engagement, the Alliance provides a credible framework for advancing a lasting and peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
