Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti to Germany

From 2005 Mr. Jean Robert Saget has served as the extraordinary Ambassador of the RoH to the Federal Republic of Germany. In April 2005 he was chosen Ambassador of the RoH in Germany and in May 2004 until 2005 he worked as the Leader of the the Public relations office of the Primeminister of RoH In 2002 to 2004 he was the owner and managing director of the Company SAPRO and in 2000, candidate for the mayor office of Sain-Marc, Haiti. From 1998 to 2004 he served as a Member of the board of directors and managing director of the industry and trade chamber of Bas-Artibonite, Haiti.

He has worked as the Owner and managing director of the import-export Company Animex, Bonn and from 1984 to 1987 served as extraordinary Ambassador of the RoH in Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Poland. He was on the board of ambassador advisers in Bonn, responsible for the support of economy and industry and bi-literal cooperation. Had companies in the Netherlands and Poland. From 1981 to 1984 board of ambassador advisers in the Embassy of Haiti in Bonn, responsible for cultural issues and economy, also accredited in Poland and Netherlands. He began as a freelancing journalist for Deutsche Welle and Sender Freies Berlin and as an Employee in the Institute for Media and Development in Berlin under the leadership of Proessor Reiner Kabel.
