The July Forum on Democracy & Peace 2024 will take place in Berlin from July 25th - 28th, 2024 and will focus on democracy & peace promotion.

The July Forum on Democracy & Peace will take place in Berlin from July 25th - 28th, 2024 and will take place in Berlin that provide a neutral platform for development and democracy advancement. Through an intensive agenda of lectures, discussions, debates, and cultural activities the Forum will focus on “Advancing Development, Democracy & Peace Around the World”.

The event will bring together renowned figures from international politics and academia to speak to an interdisciplinary audience including diplomatic and political representatives, scholars, academics, and young professionals. Important to the Forum methodology is to inspiring new ways of thinking, bringing together perspectives that are usually never brought together and creating opportunities for spontaneous and innovating thinking and originality. Vital to the event, however is the interactivity and dialogue fostered between all delegates and participants both formally and informally during the event.

The forum is held in the frame work of the World Forum on Democracy & Peace (2022-7), which is a 5-year project that is conducted by the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy in cooperation with global governance organisations, with the main aim to use the application of cultural diplomacy in order to improve international relations.

Based in Berlin, the conference will be hosted at ICD House of Arts & Culture and in a number of important political, historic, and cultural locations across the city.

Speakers during the forum will include leading politicians, senior diplomats, governmental officials, senior academics, journalists, and celebrated artists. The Conference Committee encourages academic research and analysis of issues related to the goals of the Conference. The Conference Committee would therefore like to welcome the participants of the conference to submit a paper they would like to be considered for presentation at the conference as well as being included in the proposal document that will be issued following the conference and will be sent to all governments and leaders of the international community worldwide.
