The European–Pakistani Inter-Parliamentary Council (EPIC) for Innovation, Development & Entrepreneurship is an Inter-Parliamentary alliance designed to strengthen cooperation between Europe and Pakistan through parliamentary dialogue, policy exchange, and joint initiatives. EPIC aims to foster mutual understanding, deepen political and economic partnerships, and encourage collaborative approaches to global challenges.
With a particular focus on innovation, development, and entrepreneurship, the Council serves as a bridge between legislators, policymakers, business leaders, and civil society actors from both regions. By providing a forum for dialogue and cooperation, EPIC supports the creation of sustainable frameworks that promote knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and investment opportunities.
The Council’s objectives include:
- Encouraging policy dialogue between European and Pakistani parliamentarians to advance innovation and development.
- Supporting entrepreneurship and business cooperation by creating opportunities for joint ventures, trade, and investment.
- Promoting educational and cultural exchange to strengthen people-to-people ties and encourage mutual learning.
- Facilitating collaboration in areas such as digital transformation, renewable energy, sustainable development, and youth empowerment.
- Through its activities, EPIC seeks to contribute to a stronger strategic partnership between Europe and Pakistan, grounded in shared values of cooperation, prosperity, and inclusive growth.
