(London; January 12-15th, 2026 - The event is taking place within the framework of the UK Forum on Cultural Diplomacy)

Introduction

The Arab World encompasses a rich mosaic of ethnic, linguistic, and religious communities, with a population exceeding 400 million. Its civilizations, spanning more than two millennia, have made enduring contributions to global culture, science, mathematics, literature, and scholarship. Today, the region continues to be a dynamic arena for innovation and growth, with many societies embracing digital transformation and exhibiting some of the fastest rates of development worldwide.

The Forum on Cultural Diplomacy in the Arab World seeks to explore the multidimensional opportunities that cultural diplomacy offers in this context. The forum provides a platform to examine how cultural initiatives can foster constructive dialogue, strengthen cooperation within the Arab World, and enhance engagement with the international community. The event is taking place within the framework of the UK Forum on Cultural Diplomacy.

Beyond dialogue, the forum emphasizes the promotion of impactful development and sustainable prosperity in the region, highlighting strategies that connect the Arab World more closely with global partners. By showcasing exemplary practices and experiences in cultural diplomacy, the forum aims to advance dialogue across political, economic, and cultural dimensions, while reinforcing the region’s role as a bridge between diverse societies and as a contributor to shared global progress and prosperity.
