Awarding Your Idea - “Cultural Diplomacy Best Practices” Competitions
The ICD believes that change begins with a good idea and we would like to inspire and support innovation in the field of cultural diplomacy in every possible way.

We would like to draw your attention to the following opportunities:

Call for Papers - “Cultural Diplomacy Best Practice” Competition - The ICD’s Cultural Diplomacy in Practice program is offering a prize for the best proposal of a practical execution of cultural diplomacy on a local, state or international level, in the region of your choice. Your proposal should purport to aid the mitigation of an intercultural conflict or significantly contribute to educating, enhancing and sustaining a multi-layered community. The ICD will fund implementation of the project via a 5,000 Euro grant. Proposals should be between 15-20 pages in length and should include the theoretical foundation in which you plan to ground your work as well a detailed implementation plan as to how your model would be applied and executed. We welcome applications from all regions of the world.

Cultural Diplomacy Logo Competition - The ICD is seeking innovative and attractive logos for cultural diplomacy projects and initiatives. Please send us your suggestions. The best logo will be rewarded with a 1,500 Euro prize.

Cultural Diplomacy Photo Competition - The ICD is seeking powerful and attractive photographs illustrating cultural diplomacy projects and initiatives in action around the world. Photos chosen for use by the ICD will be rewarded with a 1,500 Euro prize.

Cultural Diplomacy Slogan Competition - The ICD is seeking slogans that refer to and encompass the meaning of cultural diplomacy. If you would like to contribute an idea for a slogan, please send us your suggestions. Slogans chosen for use by the ICD will be rewarded with a 500 Euro prize.

Best Cultural Diplomacy Project Competition - In order to learn about the best and most effective cultural diplomacy projects that exist in the world today—and in order to reward the individual or organization engaged in the most successful example of cultural diplomacy—the ICD has created the 5,000 Euro “Cultural Diplomacy Prize.” The prize will be awarded to the individual or organization who proves not only that their example of cultural diplomacy in practice is innovative but also that it leads to concrete results. The ability to quantifiably prove the results of your initiative is of particular importance.
