Previous Events

The ICD has recently coordinated two event series with the German Federal Agency for Civic Education and other individuals and organizations from Berlin’s civil society.

“Wie waehlt Amerika?” (How will America vote?) constituted a series of seven events held from September to November 2008 that looked behind the scenes at the US elections. For more information on the series, please click the link on the left hand side.

From January 20th to February 28th the event series “Black History Month in Berlin” allowed the public in Berlin the opportunity to learn about and celebrate the influence of the African Diaspora in German society, and explore the challenges faced by the Diaspora Community today. More information about this series can be found under the corresponding link on the left hand side.
