P. Lewis

Born in Atlanta and raised just outside Washington, D.C., P. Lewis graduated from Howard University in 1992. His first book, "Life of Death," was published by Fiction Collective in 1993.  His latest novel, "Nate," was published in 2008 by Back House Books.  He has worked as a dishwasher in D.C., a temp in New York City and Rockville, Maryland; with these earnings he was able to get lost in Egypt, Morocco, Greece, Rio de Janeiro, Romania, Istanbul, Damascus, Havana, among other places. He is currently living in Berlin, Germany. He also won the 2006 American Book Award.

Lady Gaby

Gaby Bila-Günther, aka Lady Gaby is a Berlin-based young writer who has been labelled ‘the Peaches of Poetry’ in Berlin, ‘oddly poetic’ and ‘flamboyant and upbeat’ by The Age newspaper in Melbourne, Australia. Her latest poetry & writing was presented & performed at the new media arts festival, Transmediale 09 Festival @ Haus der Kulturen der WELT, Berlin in January 2009 as part of an online collaboration of artistic dialogues project  between Dec 08-Feb 09 as part of the Berlin-Australian Project, TRANSIT LOUNGE, ‘Moving along without going anywhere. She hosts two monthly reading series in Berlin: FUEL and Movin' on with Verses.

Michael Haeflinger

Michael Haeflinger is a poet, educator, and organizer from Dayton, OH.  His work has appeared most recently in the tall-lighthouse anthology, newleaf, and BlazeVOX.  He organizes the New Word Order open mic and lives in Berlin-Neukölln.
