As the city of Berlin prepares to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy will host a Gala Event that will reflect on and celebrate 1989, the year that changed the world. The evening will include a keynote speech, interviews, and a live music concert. Taking place within the framework of the ICD event "A World Without Walls: An International Congress on Soft Power, Cultural Diplomacy, and Interdependence" (Berlin, 6th - 9th November 2009), the guests will include the program participants and high-profile figures from Berlin’s political and diplomatic spheres, and representatives of the private sector.

The event will take place at the ICD House of Arts & Culture, which is located on the 3rd floor of the Ku´damm Karree (Hochhaus), 207-208 Kurfürstendamm.
